3 x 40 minute sessions learning how to develop and use your own mindfulness practice to support your parenting choices and responses. 

Learn how to practice and apply mindfulness to parenting and how to respond to your child's emotions and effectively model self-regulation.

What will I learn in this session?

  • Develop an understanding of what mindfulness is

  • Explore how mindfulness can help you become less reactive 

  • Develop key mindfulness practices

  • Develop your own regular mindfulness practice 

  • Discuss ways in which you can use mindfulness to continue to reflect upon and develop your parenting skills

3 x 40 minutes + Q and A after each 40 minute session

Do I need to attend all of the sessions?

To get the most out of the sessions it is best if you attend all three sessions if possible

Can I bring my child to the session?

The session is for parents and carers only. If you are looking for something for your child you can explore our Kids Clubs

Do I need to prepare anything?

Just bring yourself to the first session. There will be an expectation of home mindfulness practice in the weeks between each session. This home learning will consist of short practices that will fit into your busy parent/carer lives
